Feature · After you close
A business bank account in your deal’s name
At closing we set up a business bank account for the deal’s company with you. It is where the rent lands and where payouts to investors leave.
Free to start. You pay nothing until you submit a deal.
Your rental income · Example

Made-up numbers. Payments depend on the property and are not guaranteed.
What it is
The property’s money needs a home that is not your personal account. We help you open a business bank account at Mercury in the deal company’s name, with no DoorRaise fee for it. Your property manager sends rent there, and the account pays investors.
How it works
1
We start it with you
At closing we walk you through the application, using the company that was formed for the deal.
2
You connect it to DoorRaise
You connect the account with a token that you control. DoorRaise reads transactions and, when you approve, queues payments.
3
The rent lands there
Your property manager or tenants pay into the account.
4
The books follow
A read-only copy of the account’s transactions feeds the deal’s books and matches payouts to what was sent.
How it creates value
Clean money
Mixing a deal’s money with a personal account is how sponsors end up in trouble with investors and the IRS.
Nothing moves without you
Money never moves from DoorRaise on its own: payments wait in the bank for your approval.
Faster books
Transactions flow into the deal’s accounting, so the year-end is not a scavenger hunt.
Why you need it
Investors expect their deal to have its own bank account. Opening one takes days of forms, and getting the details of a new company right is where applications stall.
Without it
- Rent paid into a personal account
- A month-end scramble to separate deal money from yours
- Distributions sent from a personal app, one at a time
With DoorRaise. Setting it up with you is part of the $5,000 closing fee. DoorRaise charges nothing for the account itself. See pricing.
Questions
Does DoorRaise hold the money?
No. The account belongs to the deal’s company, and you control it.
Can I use another bank?
Payouts are built around Mercury. Ask us at support@doorraise.com if you need a different bank.
What can DoorRaise see?
Only what your token allows: transactions for the deal, and the payments we queue for your approval.
