Why no percentage

A platform paid a share of the money raised has a reason to push deals. DoorRaise is paid the same whether a deal raises $1M or $5M, so our only job is to make the raise easy, safe and transparent.

Compared with doing it yourself

A typical sponsor today pays $15,000 to $50,000 in legal fees per raise, plus separate software for investor portals, distributions and K-1s. DoorRaise covers the documents, filings, verification and investor administration for one flat price.

Questions

Who pays these fees?

The deal pays them at closing, out of the money raised. They’re listed on the deal’s fee card, so investors see exactly what DoorRaise costs before they commit.

What if the raise doesn’t close?

Every investor gets their money back from escrow, and you owe nothing beyond any documents already prepared.

Is there a percentage of the raise or of profits?

No. DoorRaise never takes a share of the money raised or of the deal’s profits.

How is the yearly fee counted?

Per investor on the deal each year, for as long as the deal is running. It stops when the property is sold and final distributions are paid.

Do investors pay anything directly?

No. Investors never get a bill from DoorRaise. Every fee is paid by the deal and shown on its fee card.

Are there setup, software or seat fees?

No. The prices on this page are everything DoorRaise charges.
