Consent to electronic records and signatures
Please read this before you sign anything on DoorRaise. It explains your rights to paper copies and how to withdraw consent.
Version 2026-10-19 · Last updated October 19, 2026
01
What this covers
By agreeing, you consent to receive and sign, electronically, every document and notice related to your use of DoorRaise and to any offering you invest in or sponsor through it. That includes subscription agreements, operating agreements and joinders, investor questionnaires, tax forms such as Form W-9, accredited investor confirmations, escrow and funding instructions, distribution notices, quarterly reports, Schedule K-1s and other tax documents, and legal notices.
This consent applies to DoorRaise and to the sponsor and entity of each offering you take part in, for as long as you have an account or an investment made through DoorRaise.
02
Your right to paper copies
You have the right to receive any of these documents on paper instead of electronically. If you want paper, you can withdraw your consent (below), or ask for a paper copy of a specific document without withdrawing.
03
How to get a paper copy
Email troy@doorraise.com with your name, the deal and the document you want. We’ll mail it to the address on your account within 10 business days. There is no fee for paper copies.
04
How to withdraw your consent
You can withdraw this consent at any time on this page while signed in, or by emailing troy@doorraise.com. Withdrawal is free and takes effect once we’ve had a reasonable time to process it (within 3 business days). It doesn’t affect the validity of anything you signed or received electronically before then.
If you withdraw, you won’t be able to sign new documents or make new commitments on DoorRaise, because the site works only electronically. For investments you already hold, we and the sponsor will send required documents to you on paper by mail.
05
Keeping your contact details up to date
We send documents to the email address on your account. If it changes, update it in your account or email troy@doorraise.com right away. Notices sent to the last address you gave us count as delivered.
06
What you need
To access and keep these documents you need: a device with a current version of Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox with JavaScript and cookies turned on; an internet connection; a working email account; software that opens PDF files, such as the one built into your browser; and enough storage space to save documents, or a printer to print them.
If these requirements change in a way that could stop you from accessing or keeping documents, we’ll tell you and ask you to consent again. You can withdraw consent without any fee or penalty at that time.
07
Showing you can open documents
Before you agree, we ask you to open a short PDF and enter the code printed in it. This confirms you can open and read documents in the format we use.
08
Keeping copies
Every document you sign is stored in your account as a PDF, along with a record of when and how it was signed, and emailed to you. Save or print a copy for your records. We keep signed documents for at least as long as the law and the offering documents require.
09
Your electronic signature
When you type your name and select a sign button, you are signing that document. Your electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature, and you agree not to dispute a document’s validity because it was signed or delivered electronically.
