Can I promote my students’ deals?
No. You are paid only for referring sponsors to DoorRaise. Never promote a specific deal to investors, and don’t refer investors.
When do I get paid?
Your fee becomes payable 30 days after the sponsor you referred pays their setup fee, so a refund lands first. DoorRaise pays it by bank transfer within a month after that.
Do I need a W-9?
Yes. You sign it online on your partner page. We keep your tax ID encrypted and send you a Form 1099 when the law requires.
Is there a cap?
No. You earn $500 for each sponsor you refer who pays their setup fee.
What do I tell the sponsor?
That your link takes $500 off their setup fee, and that DoorRaise pays you $500 for the referral. A CPA also follows their own professional rules for telling clients.
How long does a referral count?
The sponsor signs up after you join, within 90 days of first opening your link, and pays the setup fee within 90 days of signing up. It applies to the sponsor’s first setup fee.
